R is a freely available statistical computing package. This hands-on workshop will cover the basics of R, from starting the program to plotting and data analysis.

Schedule:

Part 1 (day 1:2 hours)
This introductory session covers the basics of R, describing how R works and demonstrating R's built-in data types.

Part 2 (day 2:2 hours)
This session covers loading data sets into R and plotting data.

Part 3 (day 3:2 hours)
This session covers R's library of statistical tests and tools.

Part 4 (day 4:2 hours)
This session offers participants the opportunity to develop their skills through a series of small projects.

Prerequisites: Participants should have some background in statistics.
