Pathway Analysis using Ingenuity and iHOP:

Through both lectures and hands-on case studies, this course will provide an overview of techniques for gathering molecular interaction and pathway information for both single genes and sets of genes. We will focus mainly on iHOP (Information Hyperlinked Over Proteins) and the Ingenuity Pathway Analysis tool, though we will also touch upon other tools such as GoMiner and GenMapp. Participants will come away from the course with a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of these tools and how to best apply them in their own research.
This course is for beginners/novices.
